As temperatures start to drop and a t-shirt and shorts will no longer suffice, I thought it might be worth offering a few suggestions on your winter clothing options.
The best advice I can give is to wear several thin layers rather than one thick layer, because if you get too hot, at least you can take one of the thin layers off. Make sure they are technical garments, as cotton will soak up the sweat and will make you feel the cold that bit quicker! You lose approximately 40% of your body heat through your head and hands so a running hat or beanie and a pair of running gloves will work well.
No progress on my running injury at the moment, very frustrating but have to accept that it happens to all runners. I'm doing as many stretches and as much self-massage as I can to try and encourage the healing. Will keep you updated
