Nights are closing in!

As I sit here at 5.20pm, it's noticeable how dark it is outside already! This is the time to be putting in the miles for the long winter ahead. Still struggling with a knee problem, really itching to get out and run.

Now is the time to be thinking about high visibility kit, you have to make sure you are seen. Fluo kit might not look particularly fashionable but it is vital for making sure motorists can see you, whether its neon armbands, flashing lights/bands, fluo long-sleeve tops or the staple mesh bib. Saucony have brought out the Vizi-Pro range which is a lovely bright orange, looks very smart and isn't too expensive either.

Sadly Gloucester didn't have a great time of it at their first Birmingham League cross-country figure, finishing last because of several missing athletes. We are by no means out of it and a strong second fixture in December will have us right back in the mix. Happy running
